Panel Visions du Réel
Creative documentary filmmaking is generating interest in Latin America and a new generation of filmmakers is seeking to develop exchanges with the European film sector. Between Switzerland and Latin America cultural links are being established which may suffer blockages due to a partial or even biased view of these cultures. This panel will seek to consolidate and enhance these exchanges by comparing different approaches and points of view. Crucial aspects concerning distribution in Latin America and Europe will also be examined.
Le film documentaire de création connaît en Amérique latine un certain engouement et une nouvelle génération de réalisateurs cherche à échanger avec l’industrie du film européenne.Il y a des rapprochements culturels entre la Suisse et l’Amérique latine, néanmoins il y a un risque de rester bloqué par une vision partielle voir biaisé de ces cultures. Ce panel a pour optique de consolider et rendre plus enrichissant nos échanges en confrontant nos manières de faire et points de vues. Seront également mis en lumière les éléments déterminants lorsqu’il est question de distribution en Amérique latine et en Europe.
